Welcome

I am a BACP registered psychotherapist and counsellor working with adults aged 16 and older in Guildford and Haslemere, Surrey.

My MA gave me a grounding in humanistic and CBT approaches and psychodynamic philosophy.  I have spent many years working across the NHS and charitable organisations.

Starting therapy takes courage.  Everyone encounters times of anxiety, disappointment, stress, or sadness sometimes.   Counsellors and psychotherapists vary greatly in their approaches, qualifications, and areas of expertise.  Finding a therapist who can support you in navigating life’s difficulties can feel complex and overwhelming.

An important first step in feeling better is finding a therapist who understands your unique situation and is well-trained and skilled to offer effective support.  I offer a free introductory session so you can decide whether I am the right therapist for you.

My philosophy is to provide the highest quality treatment, with a compassionate approach, that is focused on the goal of lasting change.

I work in a trauma-informed way which prioritises the physical, psychological and emotional safety of clients during the therapeutic process.

I apply BACP’s Ethical Framework, and together with regular clinical supervision, I ensure safe and ethical work with my clients.
