About me

I am a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist with an MA in integrative counselling and psychotherapy.

How Therapy with Me Works

My approach draws on both person-centred and psychodynamic theory. I provide a calm, warm and understanding space to talk about what is happening in your life now, while also gently exploring how your past may continue to influence you. Together, we can work towards greater understanding and self-acceptance.

Together, we will:

  • Uncover and challenge the beliefs that keep you stuck.

  • Develop self-compassion, so you can quiet your inner critic.

  • Work through unresolved grief, trauma, or painful experiences at your own pace.

  • Strengthen your ability to set boundaries and create healthy, fulfilling relationships.

  • Clarify your values, desires, and next steps toward a more meaningful life.

Sessions are collaborative, warm, and non-judgmental. My goal is to help you feel seen, understood, and empowered to make lasting changes.

Our first session

Therapy is a very personal activity and it is important that I am the right therapist for you.  For this reason, I offer a free 30 minute session or telephone call which gives us an opportunity to see if we would like to work together. You can also ask any questions you may have about counselling and the therapeutic process.

I adhere to BACP Ethical Standards and I am supervised regularly by an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist.
